Thank you for booking with Marlo Moody Photography. I am beyond grateful for your booking and over joyed to connect with you and your loved ones. I strongly believe that building relationships is what is mostly important as a photographer so that I can truly and authentically connect with you during your session. When my clients “feel” love, joy, silliness, fun loving, sweet, energic while they are viewing their photos you are more likely to print, hang them, and truly cherish them over the years.
My goal is for your experience to be calm, easy, and stress-free. We will have fun, I promise. Come with jokes to make the kids laugh and be prepared to say silly things to your significate other!

You are Booked!
Once you have completed the contract/questionnaire and paid your 50% deposit your date is confirmed! Now what?
Calendar it!
Don’t forget to add your booked date to your calendar and set a reminder!
Location! Location! Location!
Tallahassee has beautiful locations that range from parks, gardens, plantations, downtown and more. Make sure to look at my Location List.
Time
As a lifestyle photographer, I use natural light to give my clients the best picture possible. Natural light is breathtaking and gives a beautiful look/feel to the images. Its important to strive to arrive on time or a few minutes before so we can utilizes the nature light to the fullest.
Length of Session
All my private photography sessions are 45 minutes to an hour. This time frame is in place for me to offer the best gallery to clients. I understand with younger children the “need for speed” and I promise to work quickly in order to capture as much as possible before children (and adults) start melting away.
What to Wear
My most important advice is to be yourself. In order to get authentic pictures of you, is for you to BE YOU! Don’t force anyone in the family to wear something that is not comfortable. Be comfortable! My other thought is to start with one person’s shirt/dress/outfit and then work around that person’s colors to add other family members. You don’t have to be all matching but having the same color theme or similar color palate is helpful.
Props
I don’t typically have props but if you are interested in bringing a blanket or anything else feel free to let me know.
Children
As a mom, I completely understand children and all that comes along with their personalities. I encourage parents to keep this fun and rewarding for the young children. Its okay if we have meltdowns. We will pivot! Keep smiling and laughing. Think of your children and their personalities before the session. Come with jokes or funny insider jokes that you know will make them laugh. Its helpful to share with older kids why its important to have family images together.
Day of Session
Arrive on time or a few minutes before so we all can get acclimated. Remember we booked the session based on lighting with the sun so I want to provide the best possible outcome for you.
Gallery
After your private photo session you will receive an email within two to three weeks with a link to your gallery.
Digital Downloads
I am an all inclusive photographer that provides clients with all edited images from their private photo session. Within your gallery you will find a link to download images. I highly suggest downloading all images to your computer verses your phone when order prints.
Ordering Prints
Having your pictures printed is amazing! You have the convenience of order prints directly from your gallery link. The quality of these photos are incredibly and they will come directly to your home or I can deliver too.
